Consulting Manager - Luxembourg

Purpose:
The objective of the role is to maximise customer satisfaction, revenue, margin, employee morale & stakeholder satisfaction through leadership of a consulting team within a defined territory.


Accountabilities :

Key areas

  • Practice billable utilisation to meet target
  • Practice contribution of revenue to meet overall Consulting revenue target
  • Practice contribution of margin to meet overall Consulting margin target
  • Zero consulting concessions, relating to poor delivery of consultancy
  • Pipeline utilisation tracking and reporting
  • Ownership of nominated new service initiatives.
  • Attaining the right resources to achieve the New Service Initiatives pipeline.
  • Monitoring and tracking to ensure new services are delivered to plan.
  • Assisting with allocation of consultants with the right skills to meet customer requirements.
  • Control of expenses in line with corporate policy guidelines.
  • Recruitment in line with budgeted headcount and pipeline requirements

Business Development and Commercial Acumen

  • The ability to build and support a sales pipeline with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Taking the lead in a number of commercial opportunities from Discover to Close (Axis)
  • Participate in account planning sessions with the XLOB team
  • Support and aid the enablement of Partners with the region
  • Participate in commercial negotiations as required

Customer Relationship Management & Delivery Management

  • The absolute level of customer satisfaction and the quality of the plans and success of the activities to improve customer satisfaction within the territory.
  • The actual and forecast fee earning revenue value of the work in progress within the territory
  • The territory margin and the quality of cost management

Line and Competency Management

  • The quantity, mix, competence and morale of the resource pool required to support the business needs of the territory.
  • Adherence to training plans and other HR requirements
  • Appropriateness of the use of third party resource within the territory.
  • Satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders with the availability and quality of resource availability


Membership of the wider Misys Management team

  • Recognition of the importance of, and support of, the Principal and Project Manager, Training and Innovations roles within the territory
  • Flexibility in the support of the regional and global Professional Services business needs.
  • Flexibility in the support of the wider Misys business needs 
  • Demonstrate positive Leadership behaviours to your team, peers and senior management


Specific requirements

Academic and professional qualifications
At least a college graduate

Experience:  Minimum 5 years experience of Consultancy and / or Project Management with a successful track record of working in a variety of customer facing situations for either a Consultancy company or a Software and Services company. 

Travel requirements:
Able and willing to travel as required, internationally on short-term basis

Working arrangements:  As required by the territory
