Purpose:
Misys PLC, is seeking a Principal Architect with a high technical aptitude to join our Global Technology team.

Job Description:
Lead the technical design & direction of Misys's PLC.  This position is a technical leadership position where a qualified candidate will be able to effectively communicate and work with his/her manager as well as the Misys wide technology group to provide an architectural implementation consistent with the overall Misys strategy.

In addition to the Misys standards for a Principal Architect, a qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

• Strong C/C++ and .NET experience
• Good understanding of Java technologies
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, & DB2.
• Excellent communication skills 
• Ability to effectively analyze requirements to create the most appropriate design
• Experienc with enterprise software design patterns
• Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
• Financial software development experience
• Familiar with middleware technologies

College Degree required: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.

Experience required:  Must have at least eight year's practical experience building and designing distributed enterprise software.
