Role:
- To consult with customers and sales to analyze and understand functional requirements, objectives and desired features. Advise product team on new solutions requirements.
- Write functional requirements specification for new applications and modules.
- Understand what functionality is available, what has been implemented, and what is on the product roadmap.
- Understand the impact a change might have on the product/programme and be able to guide definitions accordingly.
- Provide detailed business requirements specification for developers,
- Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
- Provide internal training on new enhancement
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades and document processes.
- For Beta customers, lead the functional implementation of new modules, upgrade of current modules and interface design
- Guide Professional Services in the implementation of functionality at Beta sites.
- Assist with the transition of Sales Support to Business Solution Group
Pre requisites
- 5 years+ experience of Business Analysis within the commercial lending space.
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrable understanding of Commercial Lending Banking practices.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users and developers, at all levels.
- A strong understanding and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Expert ability to write and present effective product materials, including presentations, status-reporting, etc.
- Expert ability to lead effective product functionality meetings that are tailored to the participants.
- Expert ability to effectively identify and resolve functional issues.
- Ability to deliver under pressure.
- Knowledge of LoanIQ and or ACBS or AFS would be advantageous
