Project Manager - Dublin - Dublin

Purpose of the role:

The objective of the role is to plan, execute and deliver an internal enablement project to enable the PS organisation to sell services, deploy projects and grow PS future capability for the Bank fusion product.


Accountabilities:

1. PS Go-to-Market business case for Universal Banking

  • Update and secure approval for UB GTM business case
  • Gain buy-in from all Fusion stakeholders across the business
  • Gain buy-in from PS management team
  • Manage achievement against the business case - timescales, stakeholder satisfaction and financial targets
  • Implement processes in conjunction with PS Finance to monitor performance against the business case
  • Be responsible for achievement of the business case

 

2. Team leadership

  • Build a UB PS team in line with pipeline 
  • Provide task management, leadership and coaching to the team

 

3. Lead the PS contribution to the successful overall delivery of the Universal Banking product set

  • Contribute to scope and design decisions to ensure that the deliverables are PS-friendly - capable of being implemented in a time-effective and commercially viable way
  • Contribute to the overall communications effort - act as an ambassador for Universal Banking across the stakeholder community, including customers, where appropriate
  • Contribute to the marketing and customer propositions developed around Universal Banking, including sales collateral

 

4. Lead the PS specific enablement and readiness plans

  • Define PS role profiles required for Bank Fusion implementations and related PS propositions, including business and process consultancy
  • Define sourcing strategy, including recruitment and re-training programmes
  • Work with Misys Academy to define, develop and deliver required induction, training and skills transfer programmes
  • Work effectively with internal Business Partner organisations to execute consulting and project planning methodologies, tools and standards, and provide ideas and strategies for improvements to the practice as a whole.

 

5. Communications and reporting

  • Lead the development and execution of PS communication plans for Universal Banking
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc management reporting to key stakeholders, particularly line manager and PS Director
  • Anticipate problems and resolve or escalate them to appropriate level of management for resolution.

Specific requirements:

Experience

  • Typically requires 7 or more years of application software implementation experience, along with 3 or more years of industry experience. 
  • 1-2 years experience as a project manager in another setting or as a Misys Team Lead or Senior Consultant.
  • Prior experience as part of a management team (lead role with plan, resource and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full life cycle implementation.
  • Experience in supporting business development opportunities through proposal creation, review and presentation.

Travel requirements

Moderate requirement to make short duration trips for business meetings, consultant training and customer meetings Working arrangements

Typical office arrangements and working hours - need to be flexible to cope with varying workload and achievement of deadlines
