Accountabilities:
Customer Business Solution Requirements
Liaise with the clients to analyse, determine and document the customer's business requirements; thereby allowing Misys to make recommendations, provide advice & guidance and also challenge our clients in order to help them find a solution to their business needs
Product Mapping to clients business requirements:
Identify product configuration and customisation requirements
Identify solution gaps and help Misys to specify and develop global complex solutions which will add value to the clients business
Specify the environment and infrastructure for installation
Advise clients on how to effectively solve business issues by using Misys products
Module Implementation to meet requirements as specified in the project plan
Carry out the installation of Misys applications and designated 3rd party products
Lead the process of detailing the system design and build together with the client
Analyse, resolve/escalate problems encountered by the team during the implementation of Misys products and when interfacing to third party systems. This will include detailed issue escalation and resolution through interaction with other Misys departments and, where appropriate, the escalation of complex or system wide issues to the Project Manager.
Unit test the installed system to ensure basic system integrity
Create and carry out go live procedures
Assist the customer with the parameterisation and configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the solution requirements documentation
System Test
Support the User Acceptance & Operations testing of the system with the client
Analyse and Resolve/escalate issues during UAT & Operations testing. This will include detailed issue escalation and resolution through interaction with other Misys departments and, where appropriate, the escalation of complex or system wide issues to the Project Manager.
Performance Tuning/Technical Review
Advise the client on housekeeping tasks that allow the client to maintain and improve system performance (Optional)
Analyse the Clients systems, at the Operations, hardware, OS and Application levels and advise them on their options for performance improvement. (Optional)
System Rollout
Liaise with the client, Project Managers and Sales and Solution Consulting to understand the client's conversion, go-live and rollout strategies and to ensure that the solution meets the client's business needs.
Provide front end systems support during data conversion & branch roll out in country to ensure successful system roll out
Consultancy
Deliver functional consulting on assigned products to ensure clients are able to successfully use our solutions
Design & present training courses to our customers
Deliver advice, guidance & recommendations on business best practice.
Work individually or as a member of the Misys sales and Services team to identify, promote, and drive revenues; bidding, selling, negotiating and closing Consultancy led and / or Product led sales campaigns
Reporting/Documentation
Document problem resolution to make them available for future reference by other Consultants, e.g. useful notes; file the documents in the Knowledge Base.
Produce reports and/or documents as required
Advice and Guidance
Define and communicate consultancy standards, in order to establish quality, monitor progress and ensure success when delivering consultancy.
Discuss and offer solutions on a broad variety of business issues within the banks to increase Misys opportunities
Ensure a systematic approach to providing Banks with quality advice and guidance in optimising financial performance, defining and re-engineering processes, planning new services, branding or entering new markets
Provide technical and functional training of other Consultants to increase knowledge and skills transfer

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
o Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree or relevant Business/Banking experience
Experience
o Dependent on level
Travel Requirements:
o Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time, often with international assignments
Working arrangements:
o Monday through Friday or as defined by local requirements
