Purpose:
Banking Consultants provide the sales team with consultancy support including, client visits, presentations and demonstrations to achieve the closure of large deals. (Although will be involved in other deals as appropriate.) To help win profitable business for Misys by positioning our products as market leading solutions against our traditional competitors and the new ERP entrants to our market. We will achieve that by demonstrating superior banking and solution knowledge and establishing strong customer relationships.
Accountabilities:
- To work with banks to understand their strategies, business drivers and business benefits associated with changes to banking software, such that the solution proposed by Misys is fit for purpose and able to generate the requisite Return On Investment (ROI)
- Undertake investigatory consultancy with key bank personnel within various Lines Of Business (Eg, Sales, Operations, Risk, Product, Channel)
- Work with partners as necessary to define the complete solution
- Articulate the Misys solution that will address the needs of the bank
- Create Return On Investment business cases that identify the business benefits and set clients and prospects up for success, should they choose to acquire a solution from Misys
- Provide thought leadership added value input to banks engaging with Misys in understanding the options that are available to address their business drivers. Analyse options and making firm recommendations.
- Whilst not engaged with Large Clients and Bids, to work with and support the Regional Points of Contacts, and Solution and Technical Consultants to increase their understanding of Banking and Consultancy
- Be key members of bid teams that are created to support the larger proposals
- Support the campaign planning for larger client and prospect opportunities
- Assist Product Management with the definition of business requirements for both deal led changes and those required to support changes in the Retail Banking marketplace
- Support the qualification of solution fit with a banks requirement
- Take part in workshops with clients, either as part of initial fact-finding or during solutions presentations and demonstrations
- Work with Professional Services to ensure a smooth handover of contracts into the implementation phase.
