Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers over the phone
- Identify/qualify leads for services, training and license offerings from new and existing accounts, progress into sales opportunities, and convert into revenues
- Keeps customers apprised of new product and service introductions.
This position carries quarterly and annual pipeline quotas and pipeline to revenue conversion rates.
- First point of contact within the sales organization for existing customers when they call 1-800-MISYS
- Find opportunities to expand footprint/spend of existing accounts through proactive outbound calling
- When speaking with customers, identify the need for, and provide a quote to the customer
- Identify upsell license opportunities as well as consulting and Academy needs
- Team sell with field sales on complex orders
- Prepare weekly activity and forecast reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any business course
- Minimum of 3 years’ successful software sales experience or outbound sales experience in a BPO environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work and adapt to a changing environment and manage/overcome prospect objections
- Experience which demonstrates a level of expertise in financial markets is required
- Organized and able to follow sales processes and methodology
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
- Ability to convey information clearly and analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions.
- Ability to speak different languages an advantage.
