The position will be responsible for:

• Producing analysis and design specifications
• Coaching and advising programmers in coding and testing to support project development and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an IT-related course with at least 5 years experience in RPG400/RPGILE
• In-depth understanding and at least two years experience in industry standard programming and software design tools
• At least one year experience of CMM Level 3 or above accredited software development processes (ISO, ISEB or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in either a software development or software implementation environment in the financial sector, preferable within Misys or another financial software vendor
• Willing and able to travel internationally for trips up to one month as required
• Banking knowledge will be an advantage
