Technical Consultant - Trade Innovation - Luxembourg

Purpose:

Responsible for the delivery of high quality technical consultancy to ensure the successful implementation, upgrade and use of Misys products with adherence to Misys standards.


Accountabilities:Customer requirements
  • Liase with the clients to analyse/determine and document the customer’s business requirements to help the clients find the solution to their business needs

 

Install system successfully to meet project plan requirements

  • Prepare and configure the environment for installation
  • Build an infrastructure that satisfies the architecture defined in the technical solution architecture document
  • Carry out the installation of Misys applications and designated 3rd party products

 

Module Implementation to meet requirements as specified in the project plan

  • Lead the process of detailing the system design and build module with the client
  • Analyse, resolve/escalate problems encountered by the team during the implementation of Misys products and when interfacing to third party systems
  • Unit test the installed system to ensure basic system integrity
  • Analyse and Resolve/escalate issues during UAT & Operations testing
  • Create and carry out go live procedures
  • Organize and plan the detailed test strategy with the client

 

Delivery of technical training courses to give the client an accurate practical technical knowledge of our products
  • Design and conduct training courses

 

Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity to support clients testing
  • Assist the customer in testing the Disaster Recovery Solution

 

Performance Tuning/Technical Review
  • Advise the client on housekeeping tasks that allow the client to maintain and improve system performance

 

Reporting/Documentation to satisfy the needs of the Project Manager to ensure a fully documented project and successful implementation
  • Produce reports and/or documents as instructed by Project Manager. The document format will depend on the project requirements.
  • Document problem resolution that will be available for future reference by other Consultants, e.g. useful notes
  • Delivery and completion of Project Evaluation Form. (U.S specific)

 

Advice and Guidance to ensure an effective upward flow of information

  • Assist the Consultant Team Leader in developing consultancy tools and processes that could ease future implementation
  • Provide information, advice, guidance and updates throughout the project lifecycle in order to assist management to eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success
  • Technical training of other Consultants to increase knowledge and skills transfer
  • Domestic and international travels as required to achieve project demands on time
