Misys is seeking talented, creative, driven, and slightly-odd UI designers to assist in building the next-generation applications that will redefine their respective product categories.  The candidates will have experience in software/web development and a general discontent with the state of application design.  Candidates will have experience and predisposition to understanding and empathizing with the needs and goals of users, and manifesting those needs and goals as innovative interactions and experience concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Redefine the User Experience across a breadth of software products
• Research, understand, and leverage innovative interaction concepts including:
• Define patterns and practices for UI development to ensure usability, experience, and branding goals
  o Touch-based interfaces
  o Gestural interfaces
  o Speech interfaces
  o Mobile interfaces
• Interpret branding requirements into visual styling guidelines
• Build, refine, and test UI Mockups

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio featuring application / web and print design 
• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint/Keynote 
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders 
• Ability and willingness for travel domestically and internationally (<25%)
• BS or BFA in design or related field
