Purpose:
Responsible for the delivery of high quality functional consultancy to ensure the successful implementation, upgrade and use of Misys Summit product with adherence to Misys standards in Asia Pacific.
Accountabilities:
Customer requirements
- Liase with the clients - to analyse determine and document the customer's business requirements to help the clients find the solution to their business needs
Product Mapping to clients business requirements
- Identify product configuration and customisation requirements
- Identify gaps between functionalities and clients business requirements
Module Implementation to meet requirements as specified in the project plan
- Preparation and configuration of the environment to enable effective installation of system
- Successful installation of Misys applications
- Assist the customer with the parameterisation and configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the in Requirements Document
System Test to ensure comprehensive clients testing
- Organise and plan the detailed test strategy with the client
- User Acceptance & Operations testing of the system with the client
- Assist in the resolution of issues raised by client during testing
Successful system Rollout
- Liase with the client and the Project Manager to understand the client's strategy on conversion & roll out
- Provide systems support during data conversion & branch roll out activities to ensure successful system roll out
Consultancy
- Design (or adjustment to design) and deliver Client Training Courses to give the client a practical functional knowledge of our products
- Deliver functional consulting on assigned products to ensure clients successfully use our system
Reporting/Documentation to satisfy the needs of the Project Manager to ensure a fully documented project and successful implementation
- Produce reports and documents as instructed by Project Manager. The document format will depend on the project requirements
- Document problem resolution that will be available for future reference by other Consultants, e.g. useful notes
- Delivery and completion of Project Evaluation Form.
Advice and Guidance to ensure an effective upward flow of information
- Assist Consultancy Team Leader towards developing consultancy tools and processes that could ease future implementation
- Provide information, advice, guidance and updates throughout the project lifecycle in order to assist management to eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success
- Functional training of other Consultants to increase knowledge and skills transfer
Experiences / Qualifications:
Academic and professional qualifications
- Successful completion of relevant Bachelors Degree or have relevant Business/Banking experience
Experience
- 2 to 5 years recent experience in banking or banking systems implementation Knowledge of Summit will take priority
Travel requirements
- Able, willing and flexible to travel internationally for periods depending on clients requirements
Language Requirements
- Possess excellent Communication skills in English.
- Additional Language skills like Korean or Mandarin is required for position available in Seoul and Beijing
Working arrangements
- Monday through Friday or as defined by local requirements
