Role Expectations:

IT consultant is expected to support several off site project implementation by working closely with Customers and Implementation team to resolve all application support related issues. This involves customising the 'package software' which has an extensive Public C++ API to provide solutions for the clients. Work also involves learning about the C++ package development code to assist debugging business issues, data mapping between package and external systems.
Incumbent is responsible for quality trouble shooting and problem solving to ensure total customer satisfaction. Incumbent with prior 5-7 years of relevant working experience from related financial industry is preferred. There is a fair amount of traveling required, 30 to 50%.

Min Academic Qualifications:

• Diploma in I.T. Computing 

Technical Programming Knowledge:

• C++ (Must Have - intermediate level)
• C# and dotNet (intermediate level)
• VB (good exposure)
• Unix shell scripting, make files and make system (good exposure)
• Oracle/Sybase SQL, database principles (good exposure)
• Middleware e.g. Orbix, MQ, socket programming (some exposure)

Preference: Longer working experience on each company. This role is not a pure development project role.
