Overview

The Functional Trainer is responsible for all aspects of our User Training program: design of new materials/maintenance of existing materials, delivery of training materials to clients, follow-up with clients on outstanding issues and questions.

The Role

• Primary User Trainer for all aspects of the product
• Design and write training presentations and lab books according to Academy standards
• Maintain training database from a user perspective- 
  • Static data
  • Customers
  • Trades
  • Business date changes, etc.
• Update User Training materials to stay current with each new release
• QA User Training labs after each software upgrade
• Create new User Training classes as new functionality is introduced into the product
• Investigate problems/issues with the training software

Experience

• 3+  years experience with the entire product, not just specialization in one area
• Minimum 2 yrs Experience on-site with clients
• Knowledgeable about the banking business

Skills required

• Articulate; excellent verbal and written communication is a requirement
• Business analysis skills are a plus
• Knowledge of the financial products (Capital Markets, Derivatives, Treasury) is a big plus
• Ability to speak comfortably and confidently before a group
• Ability to transfer knowledge in a precise manner
• Must be able to work independently
