Misys Summit's real-time event-driven workflow servers automate the complete back-office process. Transactions are delivered exactly where they need to be, anywhere in your organisation, regardless of volume or instrument type.

Real-time services

• Real-time position viewers - positions are automatically up-dated during the lifecycle of the transaction giving an instant view of every trade with the ability to drill down.
• Real-time P&L - the P&L figures are also provided in real-time, up-dated with any position, market price or rate change. The decomposition feature provides a full break-down of trade details.
• Real-time exceptions handling - with the Misys Summit real-time exception event viewer you can easily examine any trade that has generated an exception. The reason for the failure can be established quickly, resolved and repaired.
• Real-time cash management - Misys Summit shows a consolidated view of cash positions including internal Vostro accounts and real-time Nostro balances. These can be viewed at currency or at individual Nostro level within each traded currency.

Accounting

Misys Summit's  powerful accounting module handles full back-valuation, automatic posting and account reclassification, while maintaining book and value-dated balances. FAS133 and IAS39 needs are fully supported.

External STP

Misys Summit interfaces seamlessly with your upstream and downstream applications, allowing the internal STP concepts offered by the solution to reach through the whole organization for example:

• Receives deals from Dealing 3000, Swapswire, EBS etc.
• Sends confirmations via many systems including SWIFT, GSCC and DTCC
• XML interfaces to other systems are provided
