Misys Summit‘s connectivity tools are designed to accommodate all upstream and downstream applications regardless of industry standard or proprietary formats. Seamless communication is available out-of the-box for a range of real-time off-the-shelf systems such as:
- Reuters Dealing 3000
- SwapsWire
- Bloomberg Trading System
- SWIFT
- MQSeries.
As well as standard adaptors, Misys Summit provides APIs to build new interfaces to other systems. These can be real-time or batch processes talking directly to the other systems, or can simply go via XML or ASCII files.
Full integration with MS Office
Using industry standard communication protocols such as COM, CORBA and SOAP, Misys Summit FT can interact with an unlimited host of applications including MS Office:
- Misys Summit applications can be called from Excel and Excel from Misys Summit
- Confirmations can be created, edited and sent from MS Word
- Direct access is available from Java applications
- Communicate through XML based Web services using SOAP over HTTP(S)
