Misys Summit moves all computational tasks from the front-end desktop client to distributed back-end application servers. Concentrating processor intensive tasks in a high performance server environment not only maximises performance and real-time response but significantly lowers hardware requirements for each user's desktop. In addition, Misys Summit's component architecture allows for front-end enhancements to be distributed independently to end-users without disruption to back-end services.
