Misys Banking Systems wins prestigious Financial-i award for most innovative trade finance solution

Inaugural “Leaders in Innovation Awards” recognise Misys’ achievements and leading position in international trade finance

20 November 2006 - Misys Banking Systems, a global leader in banking software and solutions, has won the ‘Best Trade Finance Solution’ category at the inaugural 2006 “Financial-i Leaders in Innovation” Awards.  The awards acknowledge the leading banks and software vendors which are shaping the delivery of business solutions in wholesale transaction banking.

Financial-i selected Misys Banking Systems for the award in recognition of its focus on product innovation, the cost effectiveness of Misys’ solutions, business benefits, ease of implementation and the ability to tackle business issues and challenges.  Specifically, it covers Misys’ front-to-back office trade services solutions: Misys Trade Portal, Misys Trade Innovation and Misys TI Plus.  Around the world 180 clients and 240 sites now rely on the company’s trade services solutions, with customers such as BNP Paribas, Société Générale and Lloyds TSB.
