Guy Warren joins Misys to lead the Core Banking business

18 January 2007 - Misys Banking Systems, a global leader in banking software and solutions, announces today the appointment of Guy Warren as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Core Banking.  He joins Misys on 5 March 2007.

Guy Warren was most recently Chief Executive of LogicaCMG UK, having previously led their financial services business.  Prior to that, he ran the banking practice of Unisys in Europe. 

James Cheesewright, who has been acting CEO of the Core Banking business, will remain in this role until Guy Warren's arrival.  He will then take up a new senior PLC role.
